Calvary Christian School

Established in 1996 with Kindergarten as a ministry and extension of Calvary Full Gospel Church. Calvary Christian School has grown one year at a time. We are a small, but growing school located in Fairless Hills, PA.

Calvary Christian School now encompasses Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, and we have one full time teacher per classroom. Each teacher brings with him/her a personal relationship with Christ, as well as a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification. Many of our teachers exceed this requirement, some holding Masters' Degrees and multiple certifications.

The teachers and staff of Calvary Christian School strive to create a family atmosphere where each child is valued and respected and has the opportunity to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ in practical ways.

Middle School (6th, 7th, & 8th Grades)

Calvary Christian School is within the Pennsbury School District, and we are close to Morrisville, Levittown, Fallsington, Langhorne, Yardley, and other local communities. We are also just over the bridge from the Trenton, NJ area.

SCHOOL HOURS - Calvary Christian School operates from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students may be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. and 8:55 a.m. and picked up by 4:00 p.m. Before & After School Care is available, for students in grades K-5, between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

TRANSPORTATION - Local school districts within Pennsylvania provide bus transportation to and from Calvary Christian School. The districts that transport to our school are Pennsbury, Neshaminy, Bensalem, Council Rock, and Bristol Township. Fill out the Bus Transportation Request. No bus transportation is available for New Jersey students or Philadelphia residents; parents provide their own transportation.

CLASS SIZES - Average class size is about 11 students. Maximum class size is 20 for Grades 1-8. Maximum size for Kindergarten is 24. Calvary Christian School does not combine grades. Our total school enrollment averages around 100 students in Grades K-8, which enables us to get to know each child personally and maintain a family atmosphere!

UNIFORMS - Calvary Christian School students do wear uniforms. Our uniforms are a navy/white color scheme. No outerwear may be worn during the school day; only Calvary approved items. Please read the uniform policy carefully. You may order uniforms directly from Flynn and O'Hara.

MEALS - Students may choose either to pack or buy lunch daily. We have a kitchen onsite and serve a full meal daily, including an entree, vegetable, fruit, and milk. Lunch is purchased by using meal tickets which are available in various quantities from the office. In order to continue to keep costs down, the meal ticket will not include morning snack. Calvary Christian School has selected a variety of publishers to use in the classrooms. We have a blend of secular and Christian publishers, but always strive to include Jesus in all aspects of the day! Listed below are the publishers and textbooks that we currently use in Grades K-8.
